What does Ox-Cetane actually do?

Ox-Cetane improves the air release properties of fuel. This is important because refined liquid petroleum fuels absorb and desorb atmospheric air. Each liter or gallon of fuel can contain up to 12% air by volume, a problem made worse by the constant sloshing of fuel in a moving vehicle. This entrained (trapped) air causes a number of problems, one of which is reduced fuel lubricity.

In the name of clean air, extremely stringent emission regulations have turned the modern-day Internal Combustion Engine into a carbon trap which is passed onto the consumer. The development of electronic computer-controlled engine management has made managing this carbon trap far more doable.

The best any engine/car is going to perform at its best is when it is brand new. After that, it's anybody's guess. It all depends on the driving cycle of the engine, engine oil volatility, emission control system cleanliness, engine cleanliness, maintenance schedules and the fuel delivery system condition. These are all the things that manufactures use to meet regulation standards to legally sell their vehicles in the USA.

As these systems get clogged up from the customer using their vehicle, these systems become less efficient. As a result, the fuel economy, engine out emissions along with engine performance suffers.

This puts unnecessary and unneeded strain on the exhaust emission control systems. This is further cost placed on the consumer.

The number one answer is to incorporate Ox-Cetane into your fuel system. It has the air release properties that are needed to release this dissolved air. This in turn improves the fuel’s salvation properties, which keeps the inside of the engine cleaner, and restores power, performance and fuel economy.

**Ox-Cetane is not a fuel additive nor is it a fuel-borne catalyst. It adds nothing chemically to the fuel-It could be called a fuel negative.**
